Republic of San Marino
Your lane.
A car with a driver, an errand to run, the on-demand bus. Lane brings together in a single app the ways of moving yourself — and of moving things — right where you live.
We are finalising the store listings.
01 / The services
Three things, from the same place.
Open Lane and the app works out where you are: it offers only what genuinely exists at that spot, with no lists of services you later discover are unavailable.
Ride
A car with a driver when you need one: taxi and chauffeur services from local operators, right away or booked for later.

The trip you have no time to make: sending an item, having something collected, or having the parcel that waits across the border brought to you.
See how it worksOn-demand bus
Public transport that runs when it is needed: choose your stop, book from your phone, and the minibus comes to pick you up.

Four steps, the same for every service.
Whether you are calling a car, sending a parcel or booking the bus, what you have to do never changes.
01
Open it and it finds you
Your location tells the app where you are, and the app shows only the services that are live there.
02
Choose what you need
Where you are going, or what has to travel. Before you confirm you see the times and the amount.
03
Follow it in real time
The vehicle moves on the map, and we tell you when it is about to arrive.
04
Pay, and keep the record
Cash or in the app. The receipt and your history stay on your phone.
One account
Rides, errands and buses in the same place.
Six languages
Italian, English, German, French, Russian, Spanish.
Alerts at every step
When the driver arrives and when something changes.
Emergency within reach
A button always visible while you are travelling.
03 / Ride
A car with a driver, now or later.
Behind Lane are the taxi and chauffeur operators who work here, with their own vehicles and their own drivers. You choose; the app does the rest.
Say what you are bringing
How many of you there are, the luggage, a pet, room for a wheelchair: the app offers only the vehicles that can genuinely take you, and you find out before booking rather than standing at the boot.
You know the amount first
The quote is worked out on the real route and appears before you confirm. On arrival that is what you pay, in cash to the driver or from the app.
You always know where it is
Follow the car on the map as it comes and get an alert when it is at your door. If you need to, call the driver or message them on WhatsApp with one tap; at the end of the ride you leave a rating.
04 / Errands
The chores that eat your afternoon.
It is not only about sending a parcel: it is asking someone to make, on your behalf, the trip that costs you half a day.
Sending
An item leaves one address and arrives at another, without you having to move.
Collection on your behalf
The shirts at the dry cleaner, the spare part, the thing left at the shop: someone goes to get it and brings it to you.
Parcels from pickup points
Your parcel is sitting in a locker or at a pickup point across the border, open precisely during the hours you are at work. Instead of taking the car, crossing the border and queueing, you flag it in the app with its code: we collect it and bring it to where you are. If you have more than one, they travel in the same run.
05 / On-demand bus
No timetable to memorise.
The on-demand bus does not follow a fixed line: it sets off when someone calls it and builds its route around the requests of the moment, sharing the vehicle with people heading the same way.
Choose the stops
The service has its own stops: the app offers the one nearest you and you say where you want to get off.
You know how long you wait
Before booking you see how long until the minibus comes and what time you arrive. Then you follow it on the map as it approaches.
The service stays public
The on-demand bus belongs to the body that runs it: the fares, hours and rules are theirs. Lane provides the technology that makes it work.
06 / Where it works
Lane starts in San Marino.
The app knows the boundary of the service. Inside it, you book. Outside it, we tell you plainly instead of wasting your time — and if you want, you leave a contact so we can let you know when we get there too.
It is a deliberate choice: we would rather say where we are not yet than promise coverage that does not exist.
07 / Operators and public bodies
The licence is yours. The technology is ours.
Lane holds no transport licences and does not compete with those who work in the territory: it provides the platform to taxi and chauffeur operators, to transport companies and to public bodies, and leaves them in charge of their own service.
